After singing with a band of 4 kiwi lads for a few months, things started to slow down, as we all went our separate ways.  Not wanting to let the start be the end, I formed one half of a band called Plan B with a guitarist I knew at the time.  After another few months of enjoyable singing as a duo, it, like the first band, did not last.  I was more determined than ever to sing for the people of New Zealand and so I picked up a guitar, in an attempt to become a one woman band!  Six months later I had a gig lined up, supporting a fellow musician friend at a local cafe. I was shaking so bad with nerves but knew I had to overcome the feeling to run, and stick it out!!  From that first performance, I got another gig for a private function and the ball was rolling!!  After 7 years of hard work and many, many late nights, I am now a professional solo musician and I can't think of anything I'd rather be doing.
